勞動部法務司指出，有雇主在彰化開設塑膠工廠，聘請一位具有越南與我國國籍雙重國籍勞工，但因該勞工未在台設有戶籍，所以應該是要以外國人方式聘請，但是因為雇主不了解法令，而誤以為該雙重國籍勞工是本國人，未依法聘請，被查獲後依違反就服法57條第1款規定處15萬元至75萬元罰鍰，另該外國人則以也被處以3萬元至15萬元罰鍰。
